Hello,
I am happy to welcome you and your child to 3rd grade. It is a privilege to be your child's teacher. I love teaching third grade! Third grade is so important because it is building upon the solid foundation that was built in kindergarten through second grade. I believe all children can be successful, and it is my job to teach different learning styles so each child can reach his or her full potential. We are a leader in Me school , and an Arts integration school which makes learning even more fun! Please email me with any questions or concerns.
I worked at West Buncombe Elementary as an assistant in 4th grade, and moved into Title I for 10 years.
I am a native of Asheville. We love the mountains! I attended Erwin High school. I have two wonderful daughters (Courteney and Samantha), and a wonderful husband (Joe)! We love camping, traveling to new places, white water rafting, and going to see movies. Family time is very important to us!
