Ms. Anderson

I graduated in 1995 from Clemson University with a degree in architecture and worked in that field for many years. Not having a career teaching children was a big regret for me so I enrolled at GA State University in 2007. I taught 3rd grade in the greater Atlanta area before returning to the WNC mountains. I taught part time at both Black Mountain Elementary and W.D. Williams Elementary while completing my Masters degree in education through Western Carolina University. Black Mountain is home and I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to teach here. My husband is a practicing architect. We have two daughters. Maggie, is a student at Appalachian State and Kate will be in 10th grade at Owen High.  Our niece, Jena, lives with us and will be in 8th grade at Owen Middle. We have a dog named Buddy.
